I just added the Our Current Location (code rot, it's gone) page to this webblog. I take great pride in announcing this feature of the website as I think it'll be the coolest aspect of 2guys1biketrip.
On this page, you'll find a Google Map that will track our progress this summer as we travel state-to-state across America in real time.
Right now there's not a whole lot to see, but the idea is that--come Summer--I'll be carrying a GPS-enabled cell phone running Mologogo software capable of uploading our current GPS coordinates (as well as other data) to the Internet (via Cell Towers). This data is then loaded into a Google Maps mashup that plots our progress (including location, altitude, speed, etc) in real-time.
As awesome as this all sounds, this idea is still somewhat theoretical. I don't actually have the cell phone yet (I still need to do more research and decide which model I want to purchase), and--as I mentioned in a previous post--I still have to work out how to charge the batteries (which most likely will require solar cells).
Anyway, when I finish with my research and finally get a proof-of-concept working, I'll probably bring it with me on one of my training runs. Stay tuned for the update so you can watch me move across the map as I pedal like there's no tomorrow.

@Yesenia sorry, no twitter. You could try something like ChangeDetection.com if you're that passionately against RSS.
