Today was the first day riding since arriving in Maine yesterday. After orientation Michael, Liz and I took a practice ride up Cadillac Mountain. The feeling once I made it to the top felt like no other even though this mountain is probably really small in comparison to the rest of the mountains that will be coming up very shortly. The view of the nearby mountains was absolutely amazing. There was a huge fog covering the ocean which made it hard to see a distance. I felt extremely exhausted and worried of things to come at this point. Going down the mountain was an amazing rush and extremely scary. Later on I bought groceries and got things together for tomorrow.
